Denomi

Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026

In short: Denomi doesn't collect any data about you. It reads webpages only on your device, and the only thing it downloads is a list of exchange rates.

Denomi converts foreign-currency prices on websites in Safari. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.

What Denomi reads

To find prices, the Denomi Safari extension reads the text of websites that you have allowed it to access in Safari. This happens entirely on your device. Page content, page addresses (URLs), and browsing history are never sent to the developer or to anyone else.

What leaves your device

Denomi makes one kind of network request: it downloads exchange rates from Frankfurter, about twice a day at most. The request asks for the current list of reference rates and is the same for every user. It contains no page content, URLs, browsing history, preferred currency, or identifiers.

Like any web server, Frankfurter can see the IP address a request comes from. The developer does not operate this service and receives none of this information. See Frankfurter's site for its own terms.

What Denomi stores

Your preferred currency, display choices, cached exchange rates, and the time the extension last ran on a website are stored on your device and shared only between the Denomi app and its Safari extension. Deleting the app removes them.

What Denomi does not do

Denomi has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking identifiers, or third-party SDKs, and it does not run a server. It does not change form fields, checkout values, or what you are charged.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If Denomi ever starts collecting any data, this page and the App Store privacy details will say so before that version is released.
